I have been doing business with five star auto repair for 4 years, I have a Kia Soul. This car has challenged me, but i'm grateful that jose and his team has been able to help me. I do want to highlight some things from when I dropped the car off to when I pick it up is usually about a week.The longest will be two weeks, and that's for major repairs.Or if he's not able to get a hold of me. Communication would be eight out of ten lol sometimes I would have to call in to verify if my car is ready. They get quite busy, and I usually drop my car off last minute, so I'm very grateful. They have replaced my engine and done some other major repairs.And now my car runs very smooth. I love how there's no run around and whatever questions you ask.They will answer them. Thank you so much five star for services are truly appreciate.Keeping my baby running new

Don’t take your car to this shop. They won’t fix your car but they will take your money. Took my car to this shop because I had a check engine light on my dashboard. When I scanned it, it’s telling me misfire number 2. That’s mean I have a problem with either the coil or the spark plus on cylinder 2. So I bough a new coil hoping that’s will be the problem, I took my car to the shop with the new coil, met the guy told me $100 to replace it, told him it’s fine I will be waiting because I know for sure changing the coils is not that complicated it’s pretty fast when you have tools. He told me oh no you can’t waite here you have to leave, I was surprised but I said it’s fine. Called me 20 minutes later the car is done, went back the problem is not solved. I told him are you sure you changed the right coil that I have told you to change, he said yes, but if you want me to inspect it that will be 130 or something like that, I told him no because I know what’s the problem I don’t need you to check it. Left and went to another mechanic and he changed the coil in cylinder 2 in front of me and car is running good like before. All that because he wanted to charge me the inspection money f

My Lexus 350RX after 119,000 miles had oil leaks in the upper and lower pans, they pulled the engine & transmission. While it was out they repaired the leaks,, replaced the water pump, repaired the main seal and replaced the plugs. Did a wonderful job, it took a little longer than I expected but now it is much quieter and runs great. Price quoted was very reasonable for all that had to be done. If I ever need any thing mechanical done, I would never hesitate to take it back To 5 Star Auto in Fresno Ca

Five Star Auto Repair, conveniently located in River Park, is consistently great. Joe and team do solid work and their prices are always fair. Even when they’re busy, they turn things around quickly. I really appreciate how easy it is to communicate— I can text Joe when I’m busy and can’t take a call, and he’s always responsive and clear. He’s someone I trust, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. Highly recommend.

Best quote in the city by FAR. Super responsive and willing to work with me and my schedule. Did the work quickly and was kind and thorough. Sent me progress photos through the process. My car has literally never worked better after his team was done. Not even when I first got it. I’ll be coming back for everything I need from now on.
